this is just a thread to tell us your derby number and what it means to you.
my derby number is 777. ive always believed that derbies are 30% prep. 20% driver skill and 50% luck. so what luckier number to have than 777. i even have it tattoo'd on my right leg. 777 seamed too long to be on a regular race car so when i raced circle track i shortened it to 7X. which is where my in game name _X_ comes from

I had a good friend of mine named Brett Todd who was about 5 or 6 years older than me that i watched run with my uncle and dad when i was growing up and he ran the #101 and he became diagnosed with cancer when he was around 20 and fought it for 4+ years and ended up losing his battle in late 2011 i was lucky enough his dad was there to video my first two derbies so he could watch and i won both! but back to my number he ran #101 and i just thought id run #111 just so i could be like him

mine is 707 my step father and mother ran it and when mom mom passed I picked it up just trying to rack up a win with it then going to retire the number.  and maybe see if I couldn't get someone to paint the ford car in the game this way for me. this is my latest car for this year |

id would be cool if u could paint ur car the colors u want to make them and put ur own number on them. just think it would be cool. if so mine would be all black with orange numbers bc that my colors for my derby mower
