Scott I'm 42 years old from Martinton IL a little town in Iroquois County. The web is from my last name Webster the 327 come from my daughter was born on the 3rd and wife was the 27 and our special day was the 27th. My first number was 27 then after my daughter was born I added the 3. This had to be the worst place ever to start my addiction of demolition derby as I think we have had some of the best drivers within a 100 miles of me. I have been within a few hours drive of some of the biggest derby in the country. This started when I was a small child crashing my big wheels with my buddy and smashing pop cans seeing how they bent I was hooked. I would beg anybody I could to bring me to the derby's as it was the highlight of my summers. I started doing this all by my self about the age of 23 as my family thought is was stupid and a huge waste of money and time but I just had to do it. My first car was duh a Chevy 1974 impala 2 door a week before the derby and drove it home. I wish I would been a farm boy with all the fancy tools trailers loaders ect. I bought everything myself and did all the work my self my pit crew was me myself and I and my wife. I did get little help from the Butler boys at the start with some welding and cutting the night before. I got 3 place at my county fair my first time out and I was hooked. Fast forward 15 years and pulling body's off the frame and cheating at its all time high old iron cars $$$$ and a bad back and really bad back. I had back surgery and still not better to this day and gave of this thing I loved so much up for good!!! I hated my life for cheating my out of the thing I loved so much and couldn't find a replacement hobby. I kinda stumbled on this game on the we crash forum and I'm proud to say one of the original players of this game. This was the one thing that kinda filled that void that had be missing in my life and as close to the real thing of getting back in a derby car again. Thanks Chuck!!
Gear head for life!!!
I had a lot of fun in this 1974 Chevy wagon. The first derby was TK Wendel in 2002 in Campaign IL they had around a 100 cars and I got 5th place. Then ran my home town Iroquois County Fair and got 3rd.
Drove it off the trailer battery terminal came off and back flats.
My new hot rod the 2010 Camaro 2SS/RS just got it dyno at Nickey Chicago 378 RWHP
